I think one of the most interesting things happening in the Power Platform space right now is this:
Low-code developers are no longer just staying inside the Power Platform UI.
We are now talking about GitHub, source control, MCP servers, AI coding agents, VS Code, ALM pipelines, prompts, models, and orchestration workflows.
A few years ago, that conversation would have sounded strange in low-code circles.
But now, it’s becoming normal.
In this episode, Annabel and I had a really honest discussion about whether the lines between low-code and pro-code are starting to blur, or whether low-code developers are simply evolving and adopting better engineering practices.
We also talked about:
GitHub for Power Platform developers
AI-assisted development workflows
Copilot Studio workflows
MCP servers and prompts
Choosing the right AI models
Why understanding tools matters more than hype
How AI is changing the way we build solutions
One thing we kept coming back to was this:
If pro developers are now generating code with prompts…
and low-code developers are increasingly using pro-code tools…
What actually separates the two anymore?
